- 清理熔渣。
1. Clean the slag.
仔细清理坡口两侧母材夹角处与打底层焊缝的熔渣,以及焊点重叠处的熔渣。
Carefully clean the slag at the included angle between the base metal on both sides of the groove and the weld of the backing layer, as well as the slag at the overlap of the weld joint.

在钟表5-6点的位置即仰焊位置引弧后,长弧预热仰焊位置,以甩掉第一次和第二次熔化的熔滴,因为此时熔滴温度低,流动性不好。然后采用月牙形运条或横向锯齿形运条法进行焊接,将熔滴以短弧方式向上送。焊接时,始终保持短弧。当焊条摆动到两侧时稍作停顿,使焊缝金属和母材能平滑过渡,可以将坡口两侧的边缘熔化1- 2mm,防止咬边缺陷。

Then, the crescent shaped strip transportation or transverse sawtooth strip transportation method is adopted for welding, and the molten droplets are sent upward in the form of short arc. When welding, always keep short arc. When the welding rod swings to both sides, pause slightly to make the weld metal and parent material transition smoothly, and melt the edges on both sides of the groove by 1-2mm to prevent undercut defects.
在焊接过程中,熔池始终保持大小均匀椭圆形,熔池应光亮清晰。当前半圈电弧收弧时,弧坑应填充一些熔融金属,使弧坑倾斜,为后半圈的收尾创造条件。第二个半圈焊接前,应将第一个半圈开始处的焊渣敲掉10-15 mm,焊缝结束时应将弧坑填满。使用碱性焊条焊接盖面层时,应引弧方式采用划擦法,始终预热短弧。

Before welding the second half circle, the welding slag at the beginning of the first half circle shall be knocked off by 10-15 mm, and the arc pit shall be filled at the end of the weld. When welding the covering layer with alkaline electrode, the arc striking method shall be scratch method, and the short arc shall be preheated all the time.

由于根部的底层焊缝已经焊接,根部与盖面层焊缝是否完全焊接透无关。主要技术问题是盖面焊缝应成形良好,焊缝应与母材平滑过渡,应符合技术规定,无咬边。
